Sam Smith Concert Live at the London O2 Arena - 9th April

There is nothing more magical in this entire universe than watching an artist you love and feel a connection with, perform live. I'm sure we'll change our minds when we have kids lol but for now MUSIC IS OUR LIFE.

We bought our tickets in October and patiently waited to see baby boy and it was finally time! We're not trying to sound hipster but we've loved Sam Smith since he first featured on Disclosure's single 'Latch' so after 6 years it just meant everything to watch him perform live at the O2 - shout out to Disclosure when you bringing out new music lads????

Once we arrived at the O2 Arena we decided to go to Ask Italian for a bite to eat and some wine. Service was amazing! The manager and the waitress that served us were so attentive and we were also provided with some yummy pink shots the minute we sat down. We're not sure if this is their usual practice but we LOVED IT

What we ordered:

Cheese Fonduta
Meatballs Picante
Olives
Mushrooms Al Forno

After we decided to pop to Las Iguanas - we go to the one in Basingstoke all the time so we know we should have broken out of habit and tried somewhere new... but we couldn't resist! 241 all day cocktails are our kryptonite okay

We stayed in Las Iguanas till the gates opened at 6.30pm and then made our way to our seats!

Queue moved quickly which we were so appreciative of but then again that could have been the cocktails clouding our judgement...

Our visit to the Souk Medina Marrakech Morroco

Did you really go to Marrakech if you didn't visit the Souks?

Answer is no. We absolutely recommend visiting the markets on a day trip! In this blog post we'll explain the different types of market and our tips.

Our taxi driver was an absolute BABE and took us to various Souks and would wait for us as we went out to explore at a designated spot. Then we'd get back in and he'd take us to the next spot like our own little chauffeur.

We think it's common practice for taxi drivers to offer to pick you up again because when we went out for dinner at La Trattoria (BLOG POST UP!) the taxi man gave us his number and said he'd pick us up in 2hrs which was p e r f e c t and takes out the stress of trying to find a taxi back to the hotel.

Types of Souks:

Slipper
Spice
Lanterns
Carpets

TIP - Dress conservative (ish) Morrocco is an Islamic country so when outside of the hotel, restaurants, bars you should cover up as a sign of respect: your shoulders, legs (thighs) and chest. We had all of it covered and still got stared at quite a bit

TIP - don't be afraid to take lots of photos in the individual stalls! We were a bit wary at first but all the shop keepers were super welcoming and invited us to take photos as they believe this is free marketing

We had a lot of fun during out trip to the markets, took lots of photos, chatted to lots of sellers and it's one of our highlights of our holiday so completely recommend.
