Riad Ennankhil Hotel & Spa Review

Today's blog post is dedicated to the beautiful Riad Ennankhil Hotel & Spa which is the hotel that we had the pleasure of staying in for 7 days whilst in Marrakech.

Getting there

We pre-booked our airport transfer from a company called Mozido. The driver was there holding a cute little card with 'Popely' on it (we love these things) and was so lovely! He basically gave us a mini tour of Marrakech whilst taking us to our hotel and recommended lots of tours and excursions for our trip.

Duration: 20-30 mins
Cost: £17 (including return)

Check-in

Concierge Service as we arrived and they were absolute sweethearts! Carried all 3 of our bags up without complaining wouldn't even let us hold our jackets

The check-in process was very quick and easy. Please note, you have to pay on arrival!

Decor was b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l and this theme and standard continued throughout the whole complex

Room

First thing that took us aback was the size - it was absolutely massive! These photos don't quite capture the size of the bed but it could honestly sleep 5 people eassssy. We still somehow managed to fight over the covers though haha

Within 20mins of checking in one of the hotel managers came up to our room and provided us with an assortment of biscuits, said merci and disappeared. It was super random but greatly appreciated haha

The balcony was of course our absolute favourite aspect of the room. The view, the orange walls, the endless photo ops... If you follow us on Instagram (which you totally should be by now) you'll know that we made FULL use of this balcony and used it as a backdrop for our photos basically everyday

TV Channels were fab - there was a channel MC2 which was dedicated to American/English movies which were perfect for when we'd been sunbathing all day and wanted to chill before getting washed and ready for dinner.

Decor was everything we wished for and more - we feel photos will describe it better than our words ever could

Pool

Not gonna lie we spent a lot of time here. Stockholm had been so fast paced we deserved it. We cannot express how heavenly it was to lie next to each other with the sun beating down whilst we chatted about anything and everything in complete freedom. No time-limit, no schedule UTTER BLISS.

If we didn't love England so bloody much honestly we'd chase the sun and move abroad permanently.

Food

Breakfast was continental but also had local food eg. curried sausages and beans. We completely recommend the omelettes! There's a chef who has her own station in the restaurant and makes them to order - so yummy

The restaurant managers are absolute dons and make an effort to greet every guest and have a quick chat. Near the end of our trip they made it their personal mission to teach us Moroccan phrases and rated us out of 10 each time... highest we got was 5 lol

There was also a pool side snack menu shown below and you could order any of this as room service!

We had breakfast included so paid for any other food as we went along but you can just add to a tab and pay at check-out if you prefer.

Amneties

Room Service - yes we were guilty of this a couple of times! Food was lush and don't forget to tip!
We tipped by 10% like we do at home

Taxi - reception call on your behalf and the car will arrive within 15mins

WiFi - we had seen reviews saying the connection was quite weak but we found it was strong in all areas of the hotel yaaas

Cleaners - lovely and always had a smile on their faces and made a point of saying hi to us
